Summit / Community & partnerships
Build the community. Grow the business.
I connected member acquisition, strategic partnerships, and experiential programming for Summit’s global community—building a Mixmax and Salesforce growth motion that generated $1M+ in new-member revenue.

01 / THE CHALLENGE
The problem
worth solving.
A community grows through both the people it attracts and the experience that makes them stay. At Summit, my remit connected member acquisition with engagement, partnerships, experiential programming, and retention across a global network of entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders.
02 / THE APPROACH
Strategy, made tangible.
- Connect acquisition with the member experience. I worked across member acquisition, engagement, and retention as a Community Director, bringing the commercial and community sides of the role together.
- Build partnerships that give people a reason to participate. I developed strategic partnerships and co-branded activations with Lululemon and WeWork. These premium event experiences expanded reach, drove participation, and strengthened community engagement.
- Turn outreach into a connected growth workflow. I built multichannel acquisition and nurture workflows across email and LinkedIn through Mixmax, integrating activity with Salesforce. The work connected prospective-member conversations with an organized follow-up process.
- Make experiential programming part of community growth. Alongside acquisition and partnerships, I supported programming that brought the network together and gave members opportunities to engage. My scope extended beyond the first conversion to continued participation and retention.
03 / THE OUTCOME
The acquisition and nurture workflows generated more than $1 million in new-member revenue. Partnerships with Lululemon and WeWork expanded reach and supported participation and engagement. Summit also lists “Ak Metoyer” in the acknowledgments on its Make No Small Plans page.
